The chamber has a fold down visor and is made from 6mm clear PVC with rolled corners for easy cleaning. The dimensions are: 760w x 400d x 650h with a 400mm high opening at the front. Internal lighting not really necessary but available if required as an option. The working chamber has an extraction spigot on the rear wall for connection to the filter box which can be mounted on the wall or under the bench or above the working chamber. The extraction spigot is bolted on to the casing so it can be removed and turned to a new position should the cabinet be moved to a new location at some time in the future.

Filter Box
Filter box is made from white polypropylene, the dimensions being 700w x 500d x 665h. The filter box contains a 12 kg carbon filter suitable for the removal of formalin / xylene vapour and is of sufficient size to last in all likelihood well in excess of 5 years. The filter is a standard off-the-shelf item so it can be supplied by other suppliers if required. The filter box also contains the fan and the air is discharged through an egg crate type exhaust. The fan box is supplied with a flying lead with a normal 3 pin plug and has an on /off switch.

Face velocity exceeds 1.0 m/s with visor lowered and exceeds 0.5 m/s with visor raised
